The Gilmore Construction Family had a blast at this year’s Field Day, Sept. 18, at the Pavilion at Central Park in Denver’s Stapleton neighborhood. This traditional fun day of food, games and fellowship reinforces how much we value each other and our work.

Gilmore Construction thrives because of our teamwork, friendships and camaraderie. We want everyone working with us to know and be known — and to feel valued.

Gilmore Construction Field Day 2015 was also an expression of our corporate values, which we call “The Gilmore Way.” Our values are displayed prominently in our offices. Among them:

Balance: “I have a balanced approach to life, remembering that my spiritual, social, physical and family aspects are just as important as my financial and intellectual. I complete my work and my most important tasks first so I can have quality time to myself and with my family to renew.”

Fun: “I view my life as a journey to be enjoyed and appreciated at both work and home. I promote fun and happiness so all around me enjoy it as well.”

Abundance: “I am an abundant person. I deserve my abundance, and I am easily able to both give and receive it …”

Field Day 2015’s big events included:

The Sponge Relay Race (Yes, Vice President of Construction Operations Bob Bustos came in last … but who’s keeping score?)

You can find even more great photos from the day in a photo album we’ve posted on Facebook.

Each winner of an event got a little cash prize — but the best reward for all was the companionship and bonding among Gilmore team members, who work together to build a better world day in and out.
