Gilmore encourages parents with young students to get some free school supplies at the Struggle Of Love Foundation‘s Back-2-School Backpack giveaway Aug. 15.
The first 300 students to arrive at the event will receive a backpack full of free school supplies, and will be treated to a magic show by Ronald McDonald, who is also available for photos and autographs.
“It is an honor and passion for Gilmore Construction and JLThompson Dance Ensemble to help your organization with such a worthy and blessing cause in the community!!!!” said Edweena Gilmore to Struggle Of Love Foundation organizers. “This will help me raise up the next generation of advocates in Colorado!!!”
The event is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Aug. 15, at 4780 N. Yampa St., Denver. Parents or legal guardians much bring proof of guardianship for each child, which can be a birth certificate or Social Security card.
