General Services Administration IDIQ

Gilmore completed more than 250 jobs for the General Services Administration, ranging in value anywhere from a few thousand dollars to about $150,000.

We provided primarily interior renovation and repairs of any facility on the Denver Federal Center campus, located in Lakewood, Colo.

Our work included everything from minor repairs and painting to more sophisticated restroom renovations, mechanical equipment repair and replacement, and electrical lighting repairs. This contract required Gilmore to perform at least 85 percent of all work with our own forces. We did so.

An Example

Building 41 Cafeteria Remodel

August-October 2008

Gilmore renovated the existing cafeteria to the specifications of a new vendor, Einstein Bros. Bagels. The project included electrical work, mechanical and plumbing installations, re-sprinkler adjustments, new flooring and tile, painting and the installation of security components for the facility. Additionally, Gilmore coordinated installations of the vendor’s equipment and furnishings.

Previously unidentified mold required remediation, and Gilmore addressed those corrections without delaying the project schedule. Gilmore also assisted Einstein Bros. Bagels with the installation of equipment that was inconsistent with the original plans and specifications agreed to by all parties.

The cafeteria, which seated up to 100, remained in service during our work, so Gilmore installed temporary barriers to ensure public safety and scheduled tasks to minimize impact on lunchtime crowds.
