Along with partner Aldolfson and Peterson, Gilmore has broken ground on the new Stapleton branch of the Denver Public Library. The 28,000 square-foot facility is located at the intersection of 29th Drive and Roslyn Street, just north of the Stapleton Town Center.

We are pleased to announce that Gilmore has been awarded a project for Denver Public Schools for paint booths removal and ADA upgrades for ten DPS facilities.

Gilmore has been awarded a contract to rehabilitate one of the utility tunnels which runs throughout the CU Boulder Campus. This is an exciting project for us as a large portion of the concrete repair and grouting work is self-performed. This project will serve as the test model to develop the best practices for the remodel of the other five utility tunnels on campus.
We are ramping up for work at Denver's Union Station Redevelopment, with an August turnover of the new Light Rail Platform we are busy pouring foundations and installing site furnishings, including benches, bollards and bike racks. Our "get it done" commitment, we are picking up additional work pouring foundations for other trades on the site.

We have started phase 1 of the renovation of the Urban Peak Facilty located at 2100 Stout Street in Denver. Urban Peak is a facility that houses and mentors homeless youth. Completion date is scheduled for the end of May.

Gilmore Construction is currently working on an additional to the Cornell Pharmacy located at 18th and Gaylord in Denver, valued at $300,000. This project is scheduled to be completed at the end of May.

Gilmore wraps up the new construction of Stapleton Recreational Center this month. We supplemented the site management team as well as completed nine different scopes of work on this 59,000 square foot, LEED silver facility for Forest City. We recognize Steve Young and Augie Augustino for their good work in managing this job!
The Golf Learning Center at the Air Force Academy is underway with overexcavation, site grading, foundations, and flatwork. Gene Mendez is Superintendent for this project.

We broke ground on the Stapleton Pool this month. Current work underway includes building foundations, underground MEP, and site grading. Bryon Patterson is the Superintendent for this job.

The project at North High School is going full steam ahead. The kids are having classes in temporary facilities this year. The school will reopen next school year. The new football and track field are completed and currently being used.
Construction Corporation is proud to announce that we have been awarded The Community Pool at Stapleton by Mortensen Construction. Construction will begin in two weeks and is schedule to be completed By June 1, 2011. Project cost is estimated at 1.6 million. Stay tuned for updates.

Progress at The Central Park Recreation Center @ Stapleton is on schedule and going great! This project is scheduled to be completed by November. This picture shows the west entry of the facility. The address is 9651 East MLK Blvd. Check it out!

Gilmore, in partnership with Adolfson & Peterson Construction, was awarded the Denver Public Schools North High School Renovation project. This project is scheduled to begin 1st quarter of 2010.

Gilmore Construction celebrated the opening of their new corporate offices with a Holiday Open House. Clients, suppliers, and specialty and trade contractors with whom they shared business with over the years attended.
